TONGUE TWISTER PROJECT
Using the two scatter plots you created from the tongue twister data we collected in class, write the function rule for your trend lines. Compare these two equations. Write a paragraph explaining any similarities that you discover.
Here are some thought questions for you to use while analyzing your equations:
Are the equations the same?
Should they be the same since they both represent tongue twisters? Why or why not?
Is one trend line steeper than the other? What does this mean? Is the steeper equation the first or the second set of data?
Using your equations predict the time it would take for 20 people to say each of the tongue twisters.
